Financial Reporting Specialist
Benefits Data Trust (BDT) seeks an analytical Financial Reporting Specialist to join the Finance team in supporting the organization’s mission to help people live healthier, more independent lives by creating smarter ways to access essential benefits and services through COVID-19 and beyond. The finance team uses financial analysis, planning, accounting, and reporting to bring our financial perspectives into the organization’s overall strategic decision making. The Financial Reporting Specialist will help strengthen that process to advance the organization’s innovation and impact. The Financial Reporting Specialist will support the Financial Analyst with creating reporting routines to democratize financial information within the organization, now necessary as we look to scale our impact across the country and evolve our products and services. The Financial Reporting Specialist will also be responsible for updating and maintaining our financial models. The Specialist will prepare periodic reports to government agencies and granting bodies on the organization’s use of funds.
Based in our Center City Philadelphia office, the Financial Reporting Specialist reports to the Financial Analyst.
Due to COVID-19, BDT is operating under a remote-working protocol, following governmental requirements and CDC guidelines. While this job will begin as fully remote, when BDT determines it is safe to do so based on public health recommendations, we will move back into our Centre Square office. At that time, all Philadelphia-based staff are expected to transition back into the office.
